Then, apply a thin base coat and cure. Next, dispense a small bead of your gel in a tube (sometimes referred to as 'all glue' or builder gel) onto your nail or directly onto the Gel X tip. Using a brush dipped in slip solution (or rubbing alcohol for some gels), gently guide the gel into shape. You'll cure each layer as you go, building up the desired thickness and shape. This method allows for stunning designs and strong overlays. When it comes to creating beautiful and elegant nail art designs, the possibilities with Gel X are endless! Beyond my recent 3D art adventure, I've seen amazing nail art that's both 'cantik' (beautiful) and elegant achieved with simple French tips, delicate floral designs using fine liner brushes, or even sophisticated gradient effects. If you're going for something bold like elegant black nail art, consider adding some silver glitter accents or a matte top coat for a luxurious finish. Don't be afraid to experiment with different nail colors and shapes – from classic nude nails to vibrant statement hues, and from sleek coffin shape nails (a personal favorite for many Gel X users!) to rounded almond styles.
