Christmas Series
The build-up to Christmas can be overwhelming for many in the neurodivergent community. Routines often change suddenly, social expectations increase, and sensory demands intensify with bright lights, crowded shops, loud music, and constant activity. What’s meant to feel festive can instead create pressure to mask, to keep up, or to participate in events that drain energy. It’s important to acknowledge that these challenges are valid—and that celebrating in a way that feels comfortable, calm, and authentic is just as meaningful as any traditional holiday experience.
