One helpful tip I discovered is to take some time before bed to get used to the CPAP mask while awake. This helps reduce the initial discomfort and anxiety. Also, ensuring the mask fits well is critical to prevent air leaks and skin irritation, which can make using a CPAP machine uncomfortable. For me, the AirFi feature was reassuring since it allows monitoring therapy progress easily. Tracking how my sleep is improving gives me motivation to keep using the machine consistently. Though my first night had some minor disruptions, I noticed feeling more refreshed after a few hours of use compared to previous nights without CPAP. If you’re embarking on a similar CPAP adventure, patience is key. It can take days or even weeks to fully adapt. Sharing your journey online or connecting with sleep apnea communities can provide emotional support and practical advice. Remember, using a CPAP machine as prescribed significantly reduces the risks associated with untreated sleep apnea, such as daytime fatigue, cardiovascular problems, and more. Stay positive as you start this therapy—better quality sleep and health improvements are well worth the initial effort and adjustment period.

Last night was my first night using the C-Pap machine. It was easier than I thought it would be but I had some difficulties with having a dry mouth and needing to drink water several times. I put the mask on and turned it on 30 minutes - 45 minutes before I actually went to bed, to help desensitize
