I’m not a dark romance girly. I don’t know how you babes can do it, I’m not strong enough for it 😆 I enjoyed this one though, it wasn’t too dark, which I can handle.

I wasn’t interested in the first book as much as I was with the second book. Very trauma bonding vibes. I’m here for the entertainment, hahahah!

The genuine connection Rook & Sage have—classic. I was so mad at Sage for hurting Rook. It low key hurt my own feelings! But when I read more of her side, I understood and felt the dread and anxiety. Even with everything she went through, she stood her ground.

Silas was wild in book 2, it was sad to read. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him, he deserves true happiness again. I’m so glad he has his friends and family by his side 🥺

Anyway, I’m not sure when I’m going to start book 3. I think I need a palate cleanser first 🤣
