I just realized I never posted about ZA on here. I’m mostly on bookstagram, so here it is! I read these in March.
I’ve been wanting to start this series forever, but the reading order always intimidated and confused me, so I kept putting it off. I finally decided to just stick with the main books. I flew through books 1-7. Book 3 had me locked in. Books 8 and 9, though? A struggle. I almost DNF’d book 9, but I couldn’t do it. It was the last book, I had to finish it!
This series was such an emotional rollercoaster! When I say I wanted yearning and pining, this series delivered! Shadow Princess and Cursed Fates had it, and I couldn’t get enough. The slow burn was painfully delicious. The pining was everything—I felt it so deep in my bones, I didn’t want the ache to go away! With that, it’s no surprise the middle child (Cursed Fates) is my favorite in the series.
Fun fact: I’m a middle child too, so it was meant to be. Haha!
