Homemade poptarts 🍓
Makes 6 pop-tarts
I used puff pastry sheets and they work out great.
Filling:
For the filling I used homemade strawberry jelly but any jelly will do
Cooking instructions:
Let the pastry sheets thaw for 40 mins then cut into squares. Then put 1 spoon full of jelly in each pop-tart.
To seal the sides just use a fork to smash them so the jelly won’t come out but if the jelly does come out that’s completely fine.
To make them extra crispy brush egg wash on them before putting them in the oven
Preheat oven to 400° then cook them for 15 mins
Icing:
2 cups of powdered sugar
4 tablespoons of milk (You can use any milk)
Then to top it off you can put any sprinkle of your liking (Optional)
