Getting back into the swing of things after our little holiday hiatus has been an interesting transition! You guys definitely noticed we were a bit MIA, and honestly, it was exactly what Nev and I needed. This Christmas, we made a conscious decision to just unplug completely. No scrolling, no posting, just pure, unfiltered time with our loved ones. It felt incredibly refreshing to truly be present in every single moment, from wrapping gifts to sharing laughs around the dinner table. It was a proper digital detox, and the clarity it brought was truly surprising. One of the things we realized was how much subtle pressure there is to document everything. Taking a break from that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in our Christmas traditions, which are really special to us. This year, without the constant thought of capturing the 'perfect' moment for social media, we experienced them on a whole new level. We spent countless hours just chatting, playing board games, and enjoying simple, cozy evenings. From decorating the tree together to baking holiday treats, every activity felt more meaningful because we weren't distracted. For us, navigating the holidays as an interabled couple means being really intentional about our plans, and this year, that intentionality extended to our digital footprint too. It was less about putting on a show and more about soaking up the genuine warmth of family and friends. We even had a few 'GRWM' moments getting ready for holiday parties, but they were just for us, filled with laughter and no pressure! I think the biggest takeaway from our social media detox was realizing how much we sometimes miss when we’re constantly looking at life through a screen. There’s a certain magic in those unplanned, un-filmed moments – the spontaneous conversations, the quiet comfort, the silly inside jokes. Our holiday recap is really more about those feelings and memories than any perfectly curated photo dump. The joy of just being, without the need for external validation, was truly a gift we gave ourselves. It allowed us to recharge not just our devices, but our minds and spirits. Coming back, I feel re-energized and so much more connected to what truly matters. It makes me appreciate our online community even more, knowing you all care enough to notice when we're gone! We're excited to share more of our everyday adventures and insights with you moving forward. Whether it’s sharing tips on navigating life as an interabled couple, new GRWM routines, or just day-to-day happenings, we’re back with renewed purpose. It’s been a wonderful reminder that sometimes, the best way to get ready for the next chapter is to simply step away, embrace the present, and come back with a fresh perspective. We're so grateful for all your understanding and well wishes, and we can't wait to catch you up on everything!
