Sharing my July TBR, with extremely high hopes. I have already read three of the July arcs and enjoyed each of them.
The Paddock Club by Madge Maril is one of my favorite F1 romances of the year. Formula Zero is everything I could want from a sci-fi F1 mashup. Yes, Chef is marketed to fans of It Happened One Summer and I think it fits the bill.
Currently reading: Most Ardently Yours, Empire of Shadows, and The Kings List.
I am so excited to get into the rest of these books! Especially Pippa Grant’s While You Were Trending and Meghan Quinn’s Just For The Plot.
... Read moreThis July, I've been diving into a fascinating mix of genres that keep my reading list exciting and fresh. One standout is Madge Maril’s "The Paddock Club," a Formula 1 romance that artfully blends the thrilling world of racing with heartfelt relationships, making it one of my top picks this year. If you enjoy stories where speed meets emotion, this one’s a must.
Also captivating my attention is "Formula Zero," a sci-fi and F1 mashup that perfectly satisfies my craving for futuristic tales rooted in real-world excitement. It’s incredible how the author merges adrenaline-fueled racing scenes with imaginative sci-fi elements, creating a unique narrative that appeals to both adrenaline junkies and sci-fi buffs.
On the contemporary romance side, "Yes, Chef" is marketed to fans of "It Happened One Summer," and for good reason. It offers a charming mix of humor, culinary delights, and romantic sparks that makes it a delightful read during the warmer months.
Currently, I’m enjoying "Most Ardently Yours," "Empire of Shadows," and "The Kings List," each bringing its own flavor to my reading experience—whether it’s period drama, dark fantasy, or historical intrigue.
Looking ahead, I’m especially excited about Pippa Grant’s "While You Were Trending" and Meghan Quinn’s "Just For The Plot." These books promise lighthearted escapism with witty banter and engaging characters, perfect for summer afternoons.
