A little dose of NICU cuteness 🥹🫶 (right before Henry graduated from his oxygen and feeding tube) #nicubaby #nicustrong #preemiestrong #cutebabycheck
Having spent time in the NICU, I can truly appreciate the emotional journey families go through when their little ones rely on oxygen and feeding tubes. Watching Henry’s milestone of graduating from these supports is not just a medical achievement but an enormous emotional triumph for both baby and parents. One thing that stood out to me during my experience was how every little hiccup or cute expression, like the "*hiccup*" mentioned in Henry's story, became a cherished moment of joy amidst the challenges. These small signs of life and growth offer tremendous hope and motivation to keep pushing forward. Moreover, the community support echoed in hashtags like #nicustrong and #preemiestrong highlights how vital it is for parents to connect and share their stories. Knowing you’re not alone in this journey can provide strength and comfort during tough days. For families currently navigating life in the NICU, creating a routine of celebrating small victories—no matter how seemingly minor—can improve emotional wellbeing. Taking photos, journaling these moments, or sharing them within support groups helps preserve memories and fosters resilience. Ultimately, watching a preemie graduate off oxygen and feeding tubes signals a path toward greater independence and health. It’s a hopeful reminder that with expert care, love, and perseverance, these tiny fighters often overcome incredible odds to thrive.

Congrats on him graduating from his oxygen and G tube 🙏🫶 our little one came home from the NICU on 3/13 after being done with oxygen for 2 days, and we finally got rid of his feeding tube on 4/8. Best feeling to see all the stuff come off them. He’s so cute mama!
