What does TRUE Christian sisterhood look like???

Building a strong Christian sisterhood has been one of the most enriching parts of my journey, and it's something I’ve literally loved every day here. Beyond just friendship, there’s a deeper, spiritual connection that truly makes a difference. We also lean on Galatians 6:2, which encourages us to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” This isn't just a suggestion; it's a command that fosters deep empathy and unwavering support. Looking at biblical examples, the stories of Ruth and Naomi are incredibly powerful. Ruth’s unwavering loyalty and commitment, declaring, “Your people will be my people and your God my God,” is a beautiful picture of sisterhood that transcends circumstance and even family ties. Then there's the heartwarming account of Mary and Elizabeth. Their shared joy, mutual encouragement, and spiritual understanding during their pregnancies (Luke 1:39-45) show us how sisters in Christ can uplift and affirm each other in God's divine plan. Even Martha and Mary, with their different personalities and approaches to faith, shared a profound sisterly bond, supporting each other through life's trials, even grief, as seen in the raising of Lazarus.
