夏休みの作文を書くとき、多くの子どもや親が「何を書けばいいのかわからない」「楽しい思い出はあるのに文章にまとめられない」という悩みを抱えています。私も子どもの夏休みの宿題で絵日記を書く際に同じ壁に直面しました。そんな時に、この「ことば集めシート」がとても役立ちました。 このシートの使い方はシンプルで、例えば「どこで？」「何をした？」「どう思った？」という3つの項目に分けて言葉を選びます。最初は6つのキーワードを使うことを目指しますが、慣れない場合は3つから始めることでハードルを下げられます。私の子どもも最初は3つの言葉から文章を作り始めましたが、何度か繰り返すうちに自分で文章を考え、表現力が明らかに向上しました。 また、実際に紙コップにキーワードを入れてランダムに引く方法は遊び感覚で楽しめ、子どもの創造性も刺激します。例えば「公園で」「かき氷を食べた」「楽しかった」という言葉を引いたら、それをつなげて短い文を書きます。このようにすると、作文を書くのが楽しくなり、書くことへの苦手意識も薄れていきます。 さらに、このシートを無料でInstagramから入手できるので、手間なくすぐに取り組めるのも魅力です。私自身もInstagramの@anco.kosodateをフォローし、DMで「絵日記」と入力してデータを受け取って活用しました。親子で一緒に楽しみながら学習できるので、おうち学習の時間がより充実したものになりました。 この方法は単なる宿題のためのツール以上に、子どもの言葉の組み立て力や表現力を自然に育てる工夫がされています。夏休みの作文に悩むご家庭だけでなく、家庭学習や国語の基礎力強化にもおすすめです。ぜひ試してみてください！
