CHEAPEST & FASTEST Telco in Singapore ! 🇸🇬 🫶

hello lemons 🍋 ,

Are y’all still spending more than $10💰on your telco service plan?🤔

Eight is a sub brand from Starhub! With my current plan, I am paying only $8 8️⃣ but i receive:

1. 388GB local data (Singapore and Malaysia)

2. 10GB APAC (Asia Pacific) Roaming (Thailand🇨🇷 , Malaysia 🇲🇾 , Indonesia 🇮🇩 , Vietnam 🇻🇳, India 🇮🇳 and Taiwan 🇹🇼)

3. 2GB International Roaming ( More than 58 countries! )

4. 588 minutes of local call talk time 🕰️

5. 288 minutes of IDD (Myanmar) call talk time 🕰️

6. 88 local SMS 📲

Isn’t it super WORTH?! 🤩❤️

Not only that high 📈 amount of local data, the speed of the data was also super fast! Since it’s under Starhub, it is highly reliable and the speed is consistent in both Singapore 🇸🇬 and Malaysia 🇲🇾 ! The monthly payment 💵 is also super convenient because you can allow the auto deduction of your credits, and you basically do not have to do ANYTHING! If the APAC or international 🌏 roaming is not enough, you can always top up at affordable rates!

They also have lots of promotion 🤩 going on all around the year at those phone shops below your block!🏡 I often see promotions like “Top Up $88 for $88 Free!” Basically I pay $88 but receive $176 worth of credits! That also means that I am having free telco service for about 11 months! For those who do not know where to spend their CDC vouchers, Eight also allow us to top up our credits using the CDC vouchers, which is what I did for mine 🤭❤️

Even if your current Telco is not under Starhub, it does not matter! It is very easy to port over, regardless if its e-sim or physical sim card! Eight offers both e-sim and physical sim card options! 🤤😎

They also have the “Data Only Sim” for tourist! For1️⃣ month, you pay $8 for 228GB of local data,10GB APAC roaming and 2GB International Roaming, just without the option to call 📞 and SMS📲!

Do let me know your thoughts after using it! 🤭🫶🏻

... Read moreIf you're considering the Starhub Eight plan, here are a few more insights based on my experience. The plan's strength lies not only in the low price but also in its comprehensive coverage and flexible options. The generous local data allowance of 388GB covers Singapore and Malaysia, which is great if you frequently travel or split time between these countries. Additionally, the APAC roaming of 10GB serves popular nearby countries like Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, making it ideal for regional travelers. The international roaming of 2GB covers over 58 countries, which, while modest in volume, can be topped up affordably if you need more data on extended trips. The local call and SMS allowances are sufficient for most users who also use internet-based communication apps. Another convenient feature is the auto deduction for monthly payments, which ensures you don't have to manually top up credits every month. For tourists or short-term visitors, the Data Only SIM for $8/month provides an excellent option without voice or SMS, focusing purely on data usage. Porting your existing number is straightforward whether you use an eSIM or physical SIM card, lowering the hassle of switching. I also appreciated that you can use CDC vouchers to top up your credits, effectively extending your service duration. Promotions like "Top Up $88 for $88 Free" boost your usage significantly. In general, the network speed is stable and fast due to Starhub's infrastructure, which is reassuring when compared with smaller or less established providers. In summary, the Starhub Eight plan is a compelling choice for anyone wanting affordable, reliable telco service with strong roaming perks within Asia Pacific. Just remember to check the roaming data balance regularly and top up if necessary during longer overseas trips to avoid surprises.

Is this the cheapest mobile plan in SG?
1TB data for $6.50 in this economy? 🤑 Saw this at the NTUC Career Festival yesterday and calculated that the price is $6.90 after you do some quick math on the site. Circles.Life is M1 network though, so the network may or may not be good depending on where you are. And AI perks too 👌🏻
