God is good
Nights like tonight make me grateful for the renewed relationship that I have with God and Jesus. I went from being a housebound agoraphobic for 4 years. Many weeks I’d have a panic attack for just stepping out of my bedroom door. So I didn’t, I just laid and rotted away. One day I made a deal with God, asking that if he helped me get out of this hellscape that I would turn my life over. Of course none of it was easy. It was with the help of God, the right meds, coming up an exposure plan (with the help of advancements of technology), and my family I was able to get out. I did it with gritty teeth and tears, but I still did it. I am starting to become grateful for that time because it feels like it gave me a new perspective. Everything I look at the mountains, family, friends, nature, and pretty much that isn’t the four walls of my room I just want to sob with gratitude.
