Attending Commodity’s Virtual Masterclass was truly transformative for deepening my understanding of perfumery. Each note contributes to the overall scent experience, and recognizing them enhances how we appreciate fragrances. In addition, the class addressed common perfume ingredients such as Citronellol, Coumarin, and Linalool, and shared their fragrance effects and safety considerations, like the importance of external use only and keeping products away from children. From a practical perspective, understanding these fragrance levels and notes has helped me select perfumes that perfectly match my mood or occasion — sometimes preferring a more personal scent to avoid overwhelming those around me, while other times opting for boldness to leave a memorable impression.
