things no one tells you abt college 🫤
Some things no one tells you about college....
1. Some professors just don't care - some can be inconsiderate, I have a friend who was at the hospital during finals and couldn't take the exam. the prof really told her "you don't show up, you get a 0."
2. When people lack common sense - Some people just lack the common knowledge/decency. especially in college dorms...
3. People take your clothes out of the machines - you really need to be on time during laundry days, people will take your clothes out of the machines

College life can be full of surprises, both good and bad. Many students are caught off guard by the realities they face once they step onto campus. One major lesson is that not all professors are invested in their students' success. Some may display a lack of empathy, which can result in stressful situations during critical times, such as exams. Understanding that some educators might prioritize their rules over individual circumstances is crucial for students. In addition, the social dynamics of college can also be challenging. Many students encounter peers who seem to lack common sense, whether in dorm living situations or group projects. Navigating these social environments requires patience and understanding, as well as developing strong communication skills. Another common issue involves shared facilities, such as laundry rooms. It's often surprising how competitive laundry day can get, with some individuals taking liberties with others' belongings. Awareness of these little quirks can help students avoid unnecessary conflict and maintain peace among peers. As students adapt to college life, it's important to seek advice from upperclassmen and connect with campus resources for support. Building a network can provide valuable guidance to navigate these challenges successfully. By embracing the unpredictability and forming strategies to manage it, students can enrich their college experience and make it more enjoyable.
