Huge water update to my game! #gamedev #indegame
I've been working on this water update for quite some time, and I’m thrilled with how it has transformed the gameplay experience. Water mechanics in games can be tricky to implement since realistic physics, smooth animations, and interaction with the environment all need to work together seamlessly. In my update, I focused on adding dynamic waves, realistic water reflections, and new interaction possibilities like swimming, floating objects, and even water-based puzzles. One of the biggest challenges was optimizing the water effects so they don't hurt game performance.
