We settled into a cozy wooden table right by the window, which offered a nice view of the bustling street outside – perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch. The ambiance alone makes it a Maison Mekong restaurant worth seeking out. Our meal began with those incredible drinks. The Sparkling Lychee Refresher with its actual lychee fruits was so crisp and invigorating, a fantastic palate cleanser. And the Passion Fruit Cream Tea? A surprisingly harmonious blend of creamy sweetness and tangy fruit that I haven't found anywhere else. For the main event, my boyfriend's lemongrass pork was exceptionally tender and fragrant, a true testament to authentic flavors.
