Making a meal that satisfies your family without spending hours in the kitchen can be challenging, but this picanha dinner hits the mark every time. One personal tip I’ve learned is to prepare the mashed potatoes while the potatoes are still warm, as it makes mashing easier and ensures a creamy texture. Adding shredded cheese gives the potatoes an extra layer of flavor, which keeps everyone asking for seconds. For the veggies, scoring the zucchinis and yellow squash allows the seasoning to penetrate more deeply and aids in even cooking. The combination of spices like paprika, curry powder, turmeric, and Badia Complete Seasoning creates a vibrant flavor profile with a slight kick, balanced by the richness of butter and garlic. Pan-frying the picanha in butter with Montreal steak seasoning seals in the juices while giving the meat a wonderful crust. I find that using a heavy skillet helps achieve an even sear. This dish pairs beautifully with a glass of red wine or a light salad for a well-rounded meal. This is definitely a go-to recipe when you want to keep dinner simple but impressive—perfect for date nights at home or casual family dinners. Plus, it’s versatile enough to customize with your favorite herbs or seasoning blends. Your Mexican husband will surely appreciate the effort and flavor, making it a beloved repeat meal in your kitchen!
