I have the BEST sister in the whole world! @SarayaRoseGrows #ptomom #fyp #pto #foryou #schoolspirit
Decorating a school event with family can be such a rewarding experience. My sister and I spent an evening from 6pm to 10pm putting together decorations for my son's school awards ceremony, and it was truly memorable. We started by making signs and putting up premade leis to add a festive touch. Although the little tablecloths fell once, we quickly adjusted and made it work without letting it hinder our enthusiasm. One unexpected moment was when the lights unexpectedly went off. Even though we are both a bit nervous and consider ourselves 'scardy cats,' we managed to stay calm and get the lights back on. This little challenge only brought us closer as a team. We also crafted a balloon garland before recording our efforts, adding a colorful and joyful atmosphere to the school's spirit. What stood out most was our desire to make all grades feel special. We focused on inclusivity, ensuring that every student could feel the excitement of the awards starting the next day. This kind of involvement not only supports school spirit but also helps foster a sense of community and pride among students and their families. If you ever have the opportunity to help decorate a school event, I highly recommend doing it with a loved one. It’s not just about making the space look good; it’s about bonding, overcoming small challenges together, and creating lasting memories. Whether it’s balloons, signs, or simple decorations, the effort always pays off when you see the smiles on everyone’s faces.
