I phased 4 times looking for Shiny Zekrom

Oh my goodness, you guys! I just HAVE to share my latest Pokémon Sword/Shield adventure – or rather, my ongoing battle! I've been deep into shiny hunting, and my current obsession? None other than the magnificent Shiny Zekrom. Let me tell you, this legendary dragon is proving to be incredibly elusive. I've now ‘phased’ four times in my quest, and while it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, I'm still as determined as ever! For those unfamiliar, 'phasing' in shiny hunting means you've encountered other shiny Pokémon while searching for your main target. It's exhilarating to see those sparkles, but when it's not the one you're pouring hours into, it can be a mix of joy and slight disappointment! Each of those four times, I got my hopes up, only to find a different shiny appear. Don't get me wrong, they're fantastic additions to my collection, but my heart is set on that stunning Shiny Zekrom. Why Shiny Zekrom, you ask? Well, have you seen it? The standard Zekrom is already an impressive sight, but its shiny form takes it to another level. Imagine its powerful form, usually black, transforming into a sleek, dark grey body. Those piercing blue eyes really stand out against the darker scales, and when its mouth is open with its sharp teeth visible, it looks even more formidable. The images I've captured show it perfectly, especially that full body shot with its wings spread, standing in a natural outdoor environment – it truly looks like a force of nature. It's such a majestic creature, certainly not "fat" but rather powerfully built and imposing! My main method for this hunt has been through Dynamax Adventures in the Crown Tundra. It’s a fantastic way to find shiny legendaries, but it requires a lot of patience and strategy. You battle through three regular Pokémon before facing the legendary at the end. The shiny odds are 1/100 with a shiny charm, which sounds good, but when you're specifically resetting for one legendary, those odds can feel much higher! I've probably run hundreds of Dynamax Adventures by now. Each journey into the den is a new chance, a new wave of anticipation. What I've learned from these four phases is the importance of perseverance. It's easy to get discouraged when you see hundreds of the same Pokémon without a sparkle. My advice to anyone embarking on a similar hunt: Take breaks: Staring at the screen for hours can lead to burnout. Step away, do something else, and come back refreshed. Celebrate small victories: Even if it's not your target, a shiny is a shiny! Appreciate the ones you find along the way. Prepare for the long haul: Shiny hunting is a marathon, not a sprint. Have a good podcast or show ready in the background. Know your target: Research its moveset and type to make the capture easier when it finally appears. For Zekrom, bringing a strong Fairy or Ground type is always a good idea. This hunt for Shiny Zekrom has become a true test of my dedication. Every time I see a regular Zekrom, I check those colors, hoping for that dark grey body and those blue eyes, dreaming of capturing it with its wings spread against a dramatic sky. It's an incredible feeling when you finally get your target, and I know that moment will be so worth all the effort.
