Easy Apple Cinnamon Cobbler

This is a quick easy cobbler, you can use any flavor of pie filling you like. Great served with ice cream on top, I just didn’t have any.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup flour

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

6 tbsp unsalted butter cubes

1 21oz can apple pie filling (or any flavor pie filling you like)

Cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 9x13 baking dish. Do this by placing it in the oven while it preheats.

-Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. -Pour in milk and vanilla and stir to combine.

-Pour the batter mixture into the baking dish over the butter. Do not mix with butter.

-Spoon in apples or your fruit of choice in random spots.

-Sprinkle with cinnamon

-Bake for 45 minutes. The crust will rise around apples.

Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

-Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired. Cover and store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
