Easy Strawberry Cobbler
This Strawberry Cobbler is a lazy sweet tooth fix, y’all but it soooo works. Let’s make this easy, Strawberry Cobbler. 🍓✨
Strawberry mix:
3 cups diced or sliced strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
Cobbler crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean extract
or 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
4 oz melted butter, I used salted
Lemon glaze:
I didn’t measure, just lemon juice and powdered sugar mixed until it looked right.
Follow the cobbler tutorial in the video, then bake on 350 for 45–50 minutes since every oven, is a little different. Top it with lemon glaze or vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
If you love quick and scrumptious desserts, this Easy Strawberry Cobbler is a must-try. One great tip when preparing the strawberry mix is to let the strawberries macerate with sugar for at least 30 minutes before baking. This helps release their natural juices and deepens the flavor. I also like using freshly squeezed lemon juice in the glaze to add a refreshing tang that perfectly balances the cobbler's sweetness. When making the cobbler crust, using salted butter adds a subtle richness, but if you prefer, unsalted butter works well too—just add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. For a little twist, sprinkle a touch of cinnamon in the crust mixture as suggested, which complements the strawberries beautifully. Baking times can vary slightly depending on your oven, so I recommend checking the cobbler around the 45-minute mark. Look for a golden-brown crust and bubbly filling. Let it cool a bit before serving to allow the juices to thicken. Finally, serving the cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream makes it even more delightful. This recipe is perfect for lazy days when you want a comforting dessert without spending hours in the kitchen.
