HOW I GET 100K+ MONTHLY VIEWS ON PINTEREST
(Well, I’m up to 300K now!)
In August, I started a brand new Pinterest business account. Within a month, I had begun amassing impressions upwards of 100K.
Here are some things I do to get my content in front of a larger audience on Pinterest:
📌 Keyword research
I use trends.pinterest.com to track trending keywords and phrases. I then take note of any that apply to me or my interests and create content around that. I also repurpose content; any old photos I may have already pinned but that fit new trends make for great new content with a different set of keywords. Fill up the descriptions and titles with those keywords!
📌 Staying up-to-date on trends
I’ve found that trends that begin appearing on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram eventually make their way to Pinterest. By staying up-to-date on these trends, you can be ahead of the curve by creating Pinterest content centered around them before they really take off. For example, I created iPhone wallpaper downloads with bows on them right as bows were starting to really pick up in the fashion space on other platforms. At the time, though, “dark Christmas aesthetic” was trending, and I thought those wallpaper pins were a nice fit for that phrase AND were in alignment with the trend in its early stages.
📌 Create boards that are also rich in keywords
It’s not just about the pins being filled with trending keywords, I think it’s the boards that make a difference too! Creating boards that are named using broad keywords that are generally popular search terms will help Pinterest categorize your content better.
Over the next couple of months, I plan to keep working on better conversion to followers and creating better original content that offers solutions and inspires.
Are you a Pinterest user? Or a creator? Or both?! 🤩 What’s your favorite thing about the platform?

Growing your Pinterest presence requires strategic planning and execution. One effective strategy is to leverage keyword research using tools like trends.pinterest.com to identify trending topics that resonate with your content niche. By incorporating these keywords into your pin descriptions and titles, you enhance visibility, making it easier for users to discover your pins. Another essential technique involves staying current with social media trends. Platforms such as TikTok and Instagram often set the stage for emerging trends. You can capitalize on these by creating relevant Pinterest content that aligns with these trends before they're widely recognized. For instance, if a certain aesthetic or theme gains traction, create pins that incorporate these elements while using popular keywords. Moreover, don't overlook the importance of your Pinterest boards. It's crucial to create boards rich in relevant keywords as these help Pinterest categorize your content accurately. Thoughtful board names that align with popular search terms can significantly enhance your content's reach. In summary, focus on data-driven strategies: research trends, utilize trending keywords, and ensure your boards are informative and keyword-rich. As you build your strategy, continue to refine your content to not just attract views but also lead to higher conversion rates and engagement. This approach will help convert casual viewers into dedicated followers.
