It is a lecture to "tell information" or "explain" to the reader an understanding of a scene, event, or environment.
Highlight information, straightforward, not very emotional.
Example:
The two-storey wooden house sits on a low hill with a white fence surrounding it. Behind it is a wide vineyard as far as possible. The morning air is cool and smells of damp soil from last night's rain.

💜 2. Emotional / Impressionistic Descriptions
Emphasize the "feelings" or "emotions" of the scene through visual language.
Example:
The sun bathed, chasing the vineyard a warm golden color. The morning wind fainted through the skin of the cheeks as gently as the hands of someone who had ever touched.

💚 3. Narrated through Character-Focused Descriptions
Tell through the eyes or feelings of the "character" so that the reader knows both the scene and the character's personality along the way.
Example:
He looked at his own vineyard with pride. Every tree was an effort and sweat that no one saw.

Use the "five senses" (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, touch) to make the reader feel like they're actually in that scene.

Example:

It describes a moving scene so that the reader can visualize the action like a movie.
Example:
He ran through the rain through the vineyard. The footsteps hit the muddy floor loudly, the wet shirt attached to the skin as she stood waiting in front of the house with unsure eyes.
