My Lunatic
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with Quillizabeth? If you've ever owned a pitbull, or any high-energy dog, you'll know exactly what I mean when I call her my 'lunatic.' But seriously, I wouldn't trade her wild antics for anything! She's a gorgeous brindle pitbull, about three years old, and she came into my life needing a loving home. From the moment I saw her, I knew we were destined for adventure. What makes her a lunatic, you ask? Well, for starters, her zoomies are legendary. Picture this: she'll suddenly get this burst of energy, her eyes will go wide, and she'll just tear around the house or garden at top speed, skidding around corners, sometimes even bouncing off the sofa. It's pure, unadulterated joy, and it always makes me laugh until my sides hurt. Then there are her vocalizations – not barking, but more like playful groans, snorts, and huffs when she's trying to 'talk' to me or demand attention. It's like she has her own language! She's also incredibly expressive. One minute she's curled up in a tiny ball, snoring softly, and the next she's launching herself at me for cuddles, her tail wagging so hard her whole body wiggles. Pitbulls sometimes get a bad rap, but Quillizabeth is the biggest sweetheart you could ever meet. She loves people, other dogs (after a proper introduction, of course!), and thinks everyone is there to give her belly rubs. Honestly, I probably have thousands of photos of her on my phone. My friends often ask, "How many photos of dogs do you need to take?" My answer? Never enough when it's Quillizabeth! Every silly face, every goofy sleeping position, every triumphant moment with a new toy – it all gets documented. It's hard not to capture every moment of her vibrant personality. Living with Quillizabeth has taught me so much about patience, unconditional love, and finding joy in the simple things. Even when she's trying to 'help' me make the bed by burrowing under the duvet, or 'assisting' with cooking by sampling a dropped piece of carrot, her enthusiastic presence just lights up my day. She's not just a pet; she's family, a constant source of entertainment, and my very own lovable lunatic. If you're considering adopting a pitbull, be prepared for endless love, laughter, and maybe a few furniture rearrange-ments caused by zoomies!
