✅ The sloppy method of no regrets + Checklist
✅ The sloppy way of not regretting.
Worth it. Easy to do. Don't feel guilty.
1) Use 3 rules: Use? Do you like it? Do you need it?
Ask yourself immediately if you answer "no" more than two things = sloppy.
2) Separate things into 4 piles.
• Keep Essentials
• Donate to people who actually need it.
• Sell and earn back
• Dump waste / expire
3) Do not hold the original piece for more than 10 seconds.
Don't think too much. Pick-up, decide-finish.
4) Use the 90-day rule.
If the last 90 days aren't picked up at all, chances are high that the future won't apply.
5) Keep memories with images, not characters
Some things have to leave, but photographic memories can be stored instead. No guilt.
6) Set time 15 minutes / zone
No need to tighten the whole house into zones. Will not be tired and will not procrastinate.
7) Think slopping = opening up space for new good things to come in.
Change the perspective from "throwing away" to "letting go of things, not out of life."
