หลายคนอาจมองว่าการที่โรงเรียนขนาดเล็กอย่าง "หมอนทองวิทยา" จะมีทีมฟุตบอลที่เข้มแข็งจนทะลุไปถึงรอบชิงนั้นเป็นเรื่องไกลตัว แต่สิ่งที่ผมประทับใจคือความเชื่อมั่นและความตั้งใจของอาจารย์สกล ไม่เพียงแต่สอนทักษะฟุตบอล แต่ยังสอนให้เด็กๆ มีความเชื่อในตัวเองและความพยายามที่ไม่มีวันยอมแพ้ เคยได้ยินคำว่า "แรงบันดาลใจยิ่งใหญ่กว่าทรัพยากร" ซึ่งมันสะท้อนกับสิ่งที่อาจารย์สกลสร้างขึ้นจริงๆ เพราะไม่ใช่เพียงการฝึกซ้อมอย่างหนัก หรือความสามารถเฉพาะตัวของนักกีฬาแต่ละคน แต่เป็นการปลูกฝังจิตใจและความเชื่อที่จะผลักดันให้เด็กๆ ผ่านอุปสรรคต่างๆ ได้ ผมเคยเห็นข่าวและโพสต์เกี่ยวกับอาจารย์สกลที่ถูกพูดถึงทั่วประเทศว่าเขาไม่ได้เป็นแค่โค้ช แต่คือผู้ที่เป็นแรงบันดาลใจ ช่วยจุดประกายความฝันของเยาวชนหลายคนให้กล้าที่จะก้าวต่อไป แม้จะต้องเผชิญกับความลำบากในสนามและชีวิต เรื่องราวของเขาทำให้นึกถึง "อาจารย์อันไซ" ในการ์ตูน Slam Dunk ที่พาทีมโนเนมเข้าสู่การแข่งขันระดับประเทศ ซึ่งไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องกีฬาแต่เป็นการสร้างทีมด้วยหัวใจเดียวกัน ความสำเร็จของหมอนทองวิทยาในวันนี้จึงไม่ใช่เรื่องบังเอิญแต่คือผลลัพธ์ของความเชื่อและความพยายามอย่างแท้จริง ซึ่งผมเชื่อว่าอนาคตฟุตบอลไทยจะได้รับการพัฒนาที่ดีขึ้นจากโค้ชอย่างอาจารย์สกล ที่ไม่เพียงสอนเทคนิคแต่ยังสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับเยาวชน เตรียมพร้อมสำหรับเวทีระดับชาติและฟุตบอลโลกในอนาคต
