I finally finished Mexican Gothic! I don’t often read fantasy but this book was a part of my book club reading. It’s kind of a slow burn and I think it takes way too long to get to the thick of it but it has a good storyline that will keep you guessing what’s next. It’s sometimes was a little hard to keep up with the family lineage and the imagery was often a little hard to comprehend but I truly enjoyed it. SPOILER COMINGGGGGG it reminds me of a Mexican version of the old movie skeleton key.
