My boyfriend🫶🏼
In honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, I would like to introduce my marvelous boyfriend to the wonderful web of lemon8, he’s the most selfless, kind, humorous person I know, he knows how to light up a room with just his words. His name is Nestor. We’ve been together for a year and six months. We started dating because I posted a thirst trap on my private story on Snapchat and he slid up 😂 it’s a modern day romance story, but there’s more to it, the first time I saw Nestor was in 7th grade! I’m 21 now so that was sometime ago, he was in 8th grade at the time (older man;) anyway, it was close to the start of the school year and I was waiting in line to go into Spanish class and my class was in his teams hallway, I saw him and my face went 😯 I thought, “they make guys like this in middle school??” And then I saw him AGAIN?! I was so confused. Turns out he has an identical twin. But I know, the first time that I saw him, it was him, and not his brother because I’ll always remember what he looked like that day. Fast forward to high school 2018(my freshman year), we became friends a little bit via Snapchat. One time I rode in the back of his car to go to wawa with him before lacrosse practice ( I would’ve rode in the front but my first boyfriend [before he was my boyfriend] rode in the front, I didn’t care or give him attention, I was just focused on Nestor and how I wanted to be closer with him, at least in a friendly way. We eventually fell off as the time passed by, but I always checked up on him, either through his snap or if he was on other peoples social media, (my boyfriend isn’t a big social media user) I went through a lot of hardships, my first boyfriend cheated on me multiple times, I lost respect for myself, felt insecure and attached to that boy, the guy after him made me trust him, just for all of it to be a lie, but being with that guy, lead me to being with Nestor, someone who values, respects, loves, and it’s truly amazing to feel this kind of love, we do have our rough patches but we always figure out the problem together and work together to solve it. It hasn’t been long but I’m having a great time <3 I’m very grateful for him and I feel very lucky, it’s like a dream come true to be dating my lifelong crush and it’s just as, if not, more amazing than I could imagine.
