Dos & DONT’S- see-thru fabric 🍋
When picking an outfit with see- thru fabric, these are the things I personally like to keep in mind:
❌ I make sure that the item weather it’s a dress, pants, or top etc., isn’t just by itself.. that would not give me the appropriate cover I am looking for.
✅ I make sure that it has some sort of lining inside. The lining is the fabric that will be in between your body and the see thru fabric (the shell of outfit).
❌ sometimes the lining isn’t quite what I hope for bc it ends up being see thru through the fabric Lol. You know what I mean? ironic.
✅ I just like to make sure the lining will be seamless bc I want the effect of “see thru” of the outfit to still be present!
❌ I feel that the fabric itself is not too heavy, thick or very warmish. Depending on the garnet, some see thru items are meant to be worn during hot weather. So no point in having warm service thru fabric on!
✅ If I’m gonna be out in the hot weather , I want to look for a very lightweight and thin material that will keep me nice and cool all day long! Wouldn’t you? Some of the thin ser thru fabrics can also be such as lace.
