When God answers my prayers 🙏🏼

There's truly nothing quite like the feeling of having a prayer answered, is there? That moment when you realize God has heard your heart's cry and moved on your behalf is incredibly powerful. Once a prayer is answered, the next natural step for me is to express profound gratitude. It's so easy to move onto the next request, but taking time to thank God is vital. Psalm 103:2 is a verse I cherish for this: "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits." This isn't just about acknowledging a single answered prayer, but remembering all the ways God has blessed me. It encourages a holistic view of His goodness and prompts me to list out every benefit, big or small, that He has bestowed. It helps me cultivate a heart of thanksgiving that extends beyond the immediate answer to prayer. And what about when the answer isn't immediate, or doesn't look exactly like I expected? That's where faith truly comes in. Matthew 21:22 serves as a powerful anchor: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." This verse reminds me of the importance of an unwavering belief when I come before God. It's not about demanding, but about trusting His sovereignty and goodness, knowing that His plans are always perfect, even when they differ from my own. This faith-filled approach transforms my prayer life, moving it from a wish-list to a conversation rooted in trust. These verses, sometimes jotted down in a notebook, or highlighted in my Bible, are my personal toolkit for navigating the journey of prayer. They provide solace, encourage faith, and remind me to consistently give thanks.
