Why I infuse hibiscus, sage & rose at home 🌿
Not every botanical gives me the same thing — and that’s exactly why I love making simple infusions at home.
An infusion is just a gentle way of steeping plant material in water so I can use that botanical water in beauty routines like mists, rinses, masks, and the water phase of DIY formulas.
Here’s how I think about these 3:
🌺 Hibiscus — when I want softness, a smoother feel, and beautiful shine support. I love it in hair rinses, mists, and conditioning-focused blends.
🌿 Sage — when I want a fresher, more balanced scalp feel. I like it in scalp sprays, herbal rinses, and pre-wash botanical blends.
🌹 Rose — when I want something gentle, soothing, and soft. I use it in face mists, hair refresh sprays, and calming beauty rituals.
I choose the infusion based on what my hair, scalp, or skin seems to need that day instead of expecting one plant to do everything.
