Enemy Sprite Sheet: Slimes

Each new enemy presents a fun challenge in how to translate their abilities and personality into a small, impactful sprite. Do they have glowing eyes to indicate a magic user? Spiky armor for high defense? A unique silhouette that immediately suggests a flying unit? These details make a huge difference in player engagement and strategic depth. The iterative process is my best friend here. I create a draft, test it within the game's prototype, maybe get some feedback from fellow devs or early players, and then go back to refine. It’s all about making sure these tiny digital foes are not just visual elements, but integral parts of the gameplay experience, informing player decisions and making every battle feel unique.
