18yrs of discipline.😤💪🏽
Make fitness you daily routine, practice it and on the days that are hard you won’t think twice about it. Having crappy workouts is normal. I see it this way, fitness is like any other daily thing I do: wash my face, wipe my ass, drink water, take a shower…treat fitness the same way. 🤷🏽♀️ Either stay where you are complaining or complain while you’re doing it👏🏽😂 But don’t get mad that things haven’t changed when you have done nothing to change it. LFG mamas!

Staying committed to fitness over many years truly reshapes not just your body but your mindset. I’ve found that treating workouts like everyday habits—similar to brushing your teeth or drinking water—makes consistency easier, even on days when motivation is low. The key is embracing those ‘crappy workouts’ rather than letting them discourage you. Showing up, no matter how you feel, builds discipline and forms a stable routine. Another important aspect is focusing on small, manageable goals rather than setting overwhelming expectations. For instance, committing to just 10 minutes of movement on difficult days can maintain momentum without feeling daunting. Over time, these small efforts compound into significant progress. For moms coming postpartum, carving out time for upper body workouts and integrating fitness into daily life can be especially empowering. It’s about progress, not perfection—with discipline, each workout adds up toward your strength and resilience. Remember, fitness is a continuous journey. When you don’t want to work out but still show up anyway, you’re reinforcing habits that lead to lasting change. This mindset shift from reliance on motivation to building discipline is what sustains long-term health and wellbeing.
