🍋Supplements I Take and Why🍋

Here are the supplements I (try) to take every day!

Before taking any supplements consult with your doctor to make sure they are right for you! Also if you take any medications ask your pharmacist if there are any possible negative interactions by combining your prescribed medications with the supplements.

I work as a pharmacy tech and asked my pharmacist about all of these before starting! I can tell you that these haven’t reacted negatively with any medications I take which are citalopram, buspirone, or my ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate hormonal birth control pills (can go by many brand names).

Be safe and remember to do your own research to find what’s best for you!

Here’s a closer look at the supplements I take: 1. **Women's Multivitamin**: A daily multivitamin ensures I get essential nutrients like iron and vitamin C to support overall health, particularly for women’s health. 2. **Biotin + Keratin**: This supplement promotes hair, skin, and nail health, providing 10,000 mcg of biotin per serving for improved growth and strength. 3. **Fish Oil**: Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil supports heart and brain health, providing essential nutrients while being easy to digest with smaller softgels. 4. **Turmeric**: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric can aid with skin conditions such as acne and general wellness. 5. **Iron Supplements**: Vital for menstruating women and blood donors, iron helps avoid deficiencies, supporting energy levels and overall health. 6. **Ashwagandha Root**: This adaptogen is taken for stress management and improved sleep quality, aiding cognitive function and energy levels. 7. **Cranberry + Vitamin C**: Beneficial for urinary tract health, this supplement can provide antioxidants and support overall wellness. 8. **Probiotic**: Aids digestion and maintains gut health, helping to balance good bacteria in the digestive system, which also supports mood. 9. **Magnesium Glycinate**: More absorbable than other forms of magnesium, this supplement supports muscle health and can improve sleep quality, not disrupting natural rhythms. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting new supplements to ensure they align with your health needs and avoid interactions with existing medications.
