Be Patient, You’re Becoming Someone…
Be Patient You’re Becoming Someone You Haven’t Been Before!
Have you ever felt like you’re in a constant race to “arrive”? Like life is speeding by, and you’re just trying to catch up so you don’t miss your moment? Let’s be real, most of us have. But here’s the truth: God doesn’t rush what He’s refining.
We live in a culture that worships speed. Success by 25. Marriage by 30. Business thriving by 35. And if we don’t meet that invisible deadline, we start believing we’re behind. But you’re not behind, you’re becoming.
Life can feel fast, chaotic, and uncertain, and in all that motion, we forget that patience is a spiritual posture, not a personality trait. God is shaping you into the woman He already saw when He formed you. That’s why I say you are becoming someone you’ve never been before.
When I was talking to my son recently (he’s about to graduate) he said, “Mom, I have to meet the deadline, I’m on a time frame.” I asked him, “Who told you that?” Because that’s how the world trains us to think. But God’s timeline doesn’t come with expiration dates. He’s more concerned with who you’re becoming than how fast you get there.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)
In God’s eyes, “becoming” isn’t about striving, it’s about surrendering. He’s not waiting for perfection; He’s developing purpose. The process of transformation is divine alignment, where your heart catches up to your calling. God’s patience with us is His proof of love, and our patience with His process is our proof of trust.
