Does God Love Me? YESS

I remember times when I truly questioned if God loved me. Life throws so much our way, and sometimes it feels like we're just adrift, doesn't it? But through my own journey, I've come to powerfully understand that His love isn't just a concept; it's a constant, living force in my life, and yours too. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that recognizing God's love often starts with stillness. It's so easy to get caught up in the noise of the world, our anxieties, and our to-do lists. But as Exodus 14:14 beautifully puts it, 'The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.' For me, being still means taking quiet moments to pray, to read His word, or even just to sit in nature and feel His presence. It's in these moments that I truly feel like I'm "exactly where God wants me to be," as that image from Isaiah 42 reminds us. Another key is trust. Proverbs 3:5-6, 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths,' has become a cornerstone for me. It’s not always easy to trust when things are uncertain, but I've found that when I genuinely surrender my worries to Him, His guidance becomes clearer. It’s like a quiet whisper showing me the next step, even when the whole road isn't visible yet. Remember Job 22:28, "You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you." This isn't a promise of a life without challenges, but a promise of His light guiding us through them. And what about when we feel broken or unworthy? That's when I cling to verses like Philippians 1:6: 'God didn't bring you this far to leave you.' This reminds me that every step of my journey, even the difficult ones, is part of His divine plan. He's not abandoning us midway. He's always there, listening, just as Psalm 116:8-9 comforts us with 'Talk to God. He's listening.' It’s a gentle invitation to lay everything before Him. Finally, a powerful truth that resonates deeply is from Romans 8:18: 'The pain you've been feeling can't compare to the joy that's coming.' This isn't to dismiss our pain, but to offer a perspective of hope. It reminds us that even in our darkest hours, His love is working towards something beautiful, something joyful beyond our current comprehension. When I feel like "if God is all you have, you have all you need" (John 14:8), it transforms my perspective from scarcity to abundance.
