After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Hospitality Management (which I absolutely loved studying!), I thought I had my dream plan figured out. I started in spa management right out of school because I wanted a job in spa management. But sometimes, what looks perfect on paper doesn’t always feel right in real life. I stayed for less than a year before deciding to move back home and figure out my next steps.
While working part-time as an AGM at a restaurant, I kept searching for something that truly aligned with my passions. That’s when I found my current role in sales for Equinox! 💼✨ I’ve been here ever since, and it’s been the perfect fit. I even got promoted in June, and I couldn’t be happier to be thriving in an industry that’s all about health, fitness, and wellness.
Post-grad life is unpredictable, and sometimes the path you envision takes a few detours. What I’ve learned? It’s okay to pivot and leave if you aren’t happy. Keep searching for what you love and where you’re valued. Trust me, it’s worth it. 💪
