Kindle Tour and how/why I switched to an ereader

Tour my kindle papwrwhite 11th gen!

I switch to an ereader a little over a year ago and it has been life changing, literally.

I went through an experience that changed my life-a tornado hit my apartment and took everything, including all of my books, whether it be special edition, autographed, full series that I had been collecting for a long time and more. It was devastating.

Luckily myself, and my dog were not at home at the time of the tornado. And of course, materialistic things can always be replaced.

But my books were gone and I had a lot like many avid readers. I didn’t want to start recollecting again. It seemed expensive and honestly I was so sad about loosing so many things. This did give me an opportunity to restart my TBR list though but the question was one and how. I literally had to replace everything from clothes to furniture so books wa slow on the list.

My little brother asked why I didn’t just get a Kindle. And honestly, he was right this was a great opportunity to give it a try and see how it was and he even paid for half which was beyond sweet! Now I can’t imagine not having the kindle. I literally read 10x more! I love it so so much!

My TBR has grown and the books I can check off my list has grown. I have also started SLOWLY collecting books when I come across good sales or ones sadly not available on kindle.

10/10 recommend!

I love the apps Goodreads and the app StoryGraph and Bookmory. Libby and hoopla are great for digital library loans.

Thoughts on Kindle Colorsoft 🤔

I never meant to have three e-readers but here we are 😅 and yes I use all three. The Kindle basic, Paperwhite, and the Kobo Libra Colour are all fantastic e-readers but after spending significant time with all three I can definitely say I have a favorite and least favorite. Ranking from f

Why I am returning these ereaders..

Why I am returning these ereaders… I had FOMO so I bought these devices to test out. I can officially say I am a KINDLE GIRLY through and through. 😅 Please also look up reels, Tik Toks, and YouTube videos if you do plan to buy one of these to see how they work and if you think you’d like it.
