Summer time at home pool fun
For Mother’s Day I had been begging for a blow up pool. We just moved from apartment life to a rental home life and it’s been amazing! Summer is going to be hot with record highs predicted and now that we don’t live in an apartment we loose that amenitie.
I’m a water girl though, the only way I tolerate heat is the pool. We also have a 14 month old who can enjoy pool time now!
I wanted something we could easily maintain and enjoy and this was it! I told my husband for Mother’s Day I wanted the pool and to do a like a pool day because it was mid 80s and the perfect day for it. We did a hot dog lunch with homemade pasta salad. It was so much fun and absolutely amazing! I love the built in seats too! As a plus size person I felt it was actually super solid and supported me well.

✨Pro tip✨ Walmart sells chlorine capsules that are 1inch so you only need one capsul. Get chlorine test strips to make sure you stay within safe levels. Further more the chlorine holders you can get are so cute! We got a turtle but they have ducks and crabs and a few other ones as well. Once a week take a wash cloth and clean over the inside of the pool to prevent algae buildup or slime buildup! This helps you keep the water longer! We also used my daughter’s little net for fish to get any bugs out of the water. Make sure to cover the pool when not in use!
