Would you trade your car for this one?
I’ve always wanted a sports car but specifically a Supra old or new I didn’t care I love both! Recently I had a 2025 Kia gt line and after 9 ish months of having it I sold it to carvana and started the hunt for my first sports car to build and learn on! Corvettes weren’t in my mind since I thought they were much more expensive than what I paid for this one. I wanted something that was reliable and didn’t mind gas mileage since I live where I work. I got out of $10,000 worth of debt! I had paid just enough on my Kia to not be upside down so at that point it felt okay for me to sell my car! I got $27,000 for my Kia and I only owed $21,000 so I got to use $7,000 for a down payment on the corvette! Another reason why I sold it is bc my dad was dropping insurance on me so it would’ve been around $800 a month for insurance and the payment. For my corvette I pay $530 total! I couldn’t be more happy with this car I do plan to keep this one and when I plan to get a Supra I won’t be selling my corvette since it will be paid off in two years after owning it, it will only be on insurance for weekend drives! Corvettes are built very well and don’t often have problems and are extremely reliable even after 200k miles ( mine only has 75k). Question is do you think this was smart for a 21yr old living by herself? Old cars come with more problems especially when you plan on building it, what do yall think? Did I do the right thing for myself?

In my case, keeping the Corvette while planning to add a Supra later means I get the best of both worlds — a weekend cruiser and a future dream build. Would I recommend this lifestyle?
