I think about you Everyday all day…I love you ❤️
That profound, constant ache of missing someone undeniably special is a feeling many of us carry. I know that feeling all too well, the one where you just wish you could hold them, hear their voice, or just have them next to you again. That profound sense of 'I miss you so much' can truly consume you, making even the simplest daily tasks feel heavy. This feeling of sadness, and love, intertwined, is something I navigate daily. Losing a mom leaves a void that no one else can fill. There are moments, big and small, when 'I wish you were here with me' echoes in my mind. It could be a beautiful sunset, a funny story, or just a quiet moment when her presence is deeply missed. I often find myself looking at old photos or replaying memories, just to experience that warmth, that 'seeing your smile' moment that used to give me so much peace. Even for a little while, those memories are treasures. Navigating grief is a deeply personal journey, and there's no single right way to do it. For me, expressing these feelings, whether through writing or simply talking to loved ones, has been a lifeline. It helps to acknowledge that it's okay to not be okay, and that the love we felt doesn't just disappear. Sometimes, I imagine what I'd tell her, 'So many things left to say,' and that thought alone keeps her memory vivid. Allowing myself to feel the sadness, alongside the gratitude for the love we shared, is part of the process. It's important to remember that mental health matters, especially when dealing with such a profound loss. Reaching out for support, whether from friends, family, or professional counselors, isn't a sign of weakness but immense strength. Shared experiences can be incredibly comforting, reminding us that we're not isolated in our pain. Finding small ways to honor her memory, perhaps through acts of kindness she would have appreciated or by continuing traditions, can also bring a sense of connection. While the longing for 'another day' or 'another time' is ever-present, I try to focus on the enduring love. Her spirit, her lessons, her laughter – they live on in my heart. Mom, rest your soul, knowing that your love continues to inspire and guide. The journey through grief is long, but it’s a path walked with love, and in that love, there is always a flicker of peace.
