☀️This schedule follows the Moms on call 4-8 week schedule!
☀️ It does take a minute to get used to schedule but it is amazing once you and baby get used to it!!!
✨TIPS✨
☀️As much as I would love it, not everyday looks like this!! Especially on days where we are out of town/ traveling. It is hard but I try to keep on schedule as much as possible but sometimes it’s unrealistic when on vacation.
☀️I don’t always put my baby in her bassinet when she naps. Sometimes I do cuddle/ let her sleep on me to gain those day naps ( especially when first starting the schedule)
☀️ I do put my baby in the bath every night as it helps her get used to the schedule wsicallt let her know it’s almost bedtime. However, I do now wash my baby every night when she is in the bath because it can dry out their skin. I just let her sit in the water on nights I don’t wash her because baths also help relieve gas which has been a God send!🙌
☀️ I do not wake my baby up at night anymore to feed ( something her pediatrician told me) just let your baby sleep through the night and they will wake you when they are hungry!
☀️ Don’t beat yourself up on the schedule, every baby is different and not everyday will look like this, but definitely take your little achievements/ successes!!!

Following a structured routine helps your baby understand the difference between day and night. One effective approach involves incorporating wake windows of around 45-60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for feeding, nurturing, and active play, to encourage developmental milestones. Consider engaging in age-appropriate activities during playtime, such as tummy time, to support your baby's motor skills.
Another important aspect of this schedule is the evening wind-down routine. Activities like a warm bath can signal to your baby that it's almost bedtime, creating a calm and soothing transition. It's crucial to maintain flexibility; every baby is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. If your baby falls out of sync, don't be discouraged. Monitor their cues and adjust the schedule accordingly, being gentle with adjustments.
Consider tracking sleep patterns and feeding times in a journal to identify trends and areas for improvement. This practice not only offers insights into your child's individual needs but also aids in discussions with pediatricians if any concerns arise. With consistency and patience, your baby will gradually adapt to their new schedule, leading to improved rest for both you and your little one.
Idk how but my 8 week old has slept through the night since we brought her home. 11pm-6am
