OMG, I'm so hyped to finally reveal that I'm starting a brand new 'rebuilding my Raiden series' for Genshin Impact! For ages, I've been wanting to dive deep into optimizing our beloved Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun, and I think now's the perfect time. With all the new artifacts, characters, and meta shifts, it feels like a total fresh start for many of our beloved units, and Raiden is definitely at the top of my list for a major overhaul. So, what does 'rebuilding my Raiden series' even mean? Well, for me, it's about exploring every single aspect of her kit to ensure she's performing at her absolute best, whether you're a F2P player or a whale. We'll be looking at everything from artifact sets – obviously focusing on the iconic Emblem of Severed Fate, but perhaps exploring niche alternatives too – to her best-in-slot weapons. Engulfing Lightning is her signature, but what about other 5-star options like Staff of Homa or even popular 4-star weapons like 'The Catch'? We'll break down the pros and cons of each, considering different playstyles and team compositions. Beyond just gear, a huge part of this 'rebuilding' journey will be about understanding her talent priority and, crucially, her energy recharge requirements. Raiden's entire kit revolves around her Burst, so getting that up consistently is key. We'll explore different ER breakpoints and how to achieve them without sacrificing too much damage. And of course, team compositions! I plan to cover popular teams like the 'Raiden National' (Raiden, Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu) which is still incredibly powerful, as well as more hypercarry-focused teams where Raiden herself is the star DPS. I'm also keen to experiment with some newer character synergies that might elevate her performance even further.
