It's basically your brain's ability to perceive what’s going on inside your body. Think about it – your heartbeat, your breathing, that little flutter in your stomach, or the warmth in your cheeks. These are all internal body signals and sensations that we often ignore in our busy lives. The more we tune into these subtle cues, the more connected we become to our physical selves. I remember reading about a study that highlighted how women with higher levels of interoception often experience more frequent and more intense orgasms. And it's not just for women; people of all genders can benefit from strengthening this sense of internal awareness, making it a fantastic tool for sexual pleasure techniques.
