Once again, kind of a long video because multiple things happen within it — it’s not just the full review, but also the journey of getting the food. I had my best friend and her sister with me in Atlanta, so of course I had to get footage of them trying the food too. I’ll give you all of our reviews down below.

For me:

Pros: The plate looks really, really good. It’s kind of convenient because they’re located inside of a gas station — not an actual restaurant where you have to sit down. You can just grab a plate while you’re getting gas since they’ve got a separate setup for ordering food. The people were very, very nice, especially the girl who put my sauce on my plate — personality TEA.

Cons: I feel like the idea is great, but the butter they put on top is simply just butter. If it’s seasoned, it’s not seasoned enough or throughout at all. It tastes like the noodles were boiled, the neck bones were boiled, the shrimp were boiled or steamed, and then they just sprinkled seasoning on top and poured liquid butter over it. For the price, the taste was disappointing — it definitely could’ve had way more flavor. My total was around $40–$50, and I wouldn’t have minded paying that if the food actually tasted good, but since it didn’t, that’s where it fell short.

Now let’s talk about my friends’ reactions:

The first girl you saw was Kyra — she actually follows them and had been wanting to try their food for a long time. Her expectations were super high, and so were mine based on the look and all the hype from people eating inside the store. I didn’t really check reviews from people after they got home, but sometimes folks are hesitant to say they didn’t like something in front of the cooks, which is understandable. Kyra agreed with me that the food was missing seasoning, but we both really liked the crab.

The second girl, (Kyra’s sister), initially said she liked the flavor, but then backtracked and said it could’ve used more seasoning too. So overall, we all pretty much had the same opinion — we were just about ready to tussle over that crab, because that was the one thing that was fire.

Final rating: The crab was a 10/10, but the rest of the plate? Throw it away. Overall, the whole plate gets a 4.5–5 out of 10.

I've learned to ask about their seasoning process – sometimes a quick chat with the staff can give you a clue. Is the butter seasoned? Are the noodles cooked in a flavorful broth, or just boiled water? Another thing to consider is the type of noodle. For ramen, I love a chewy, springy noodle that soaks up the broth. For pho, a softer, delicate rice noodle is key. If you're searching for 'pho nooes' (likely a typo for pho noodles!), remember that pho is a Vietnamese staple known for its aromatic, long-simmered broth, fresh herbs, and thinly sliced meat or seafood. It's quite different from ramen, which is a Japanese dish typically characterized by its rich, often pork-based, broth and wheat noodles. Both are delicious, but knowing the difference helps you find exactly what you're craving. When it comes to specific dishes like 'snow crab ramen,' the quality of the crab is paramount. You want sweet, tender crab meat that's easy to get out of the shell. My friends and I were ready to tussle over that crab in my last review because it was truly the standout! If the crab isn't fresh or is overcooked, it can ruin the whole experience. Don't be afraid to read reviews (and look at photos!) from other foodies. Look for places that consistently get high marks for their seafood quality. Sometimes, checking out local food groups or forums for 'Atlanta food reviews' can give you a more authentic picture than just relying on one or two viral posts. Ultimately, finding your perfect seafood noodle plate, whether it's ramen or pho, often comes down to trial and error. But by paying attention to seasoning, noodle quality, and the freshness of the seafood, you can increase your chances of a truly satisfying meal. And who knows, maybe your next favorite spot is waiting for you right around the corner in Atlanta, Ga!
