Two years ago, I published the first book in my firefighter romance series, Lies We Extinguished. I never planned on making it into a series, but after growing attached to so many characters, I couldn’t resist. Now it’s a four-book series that I’m so proud of and have cried over many times😅 I could go on forever about why I love Blake and Elizabella, but I’d rather let my readers’ opinions do the talking. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. What M.K. has done with her writing is amazing. Blake, Elizabella, and every character was so real, flesh and blood. Every emotion, every argument, every emotional release was real and raw. There aren’t enough books where the characters physically come to life for the reader, but this is one of them. I laughed, I was irritated, I cried (a lot), and I loved, hard.

The way Morris manages to tell a love story that is both wholesome, while not being fantastical is truly an art. I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

This book was really good and I'm ready for the next two. This book is one of the first books in a while that I was ready to read everyday after work. This book had me laughing, ready to cry, on the edge of my seat, and ready to turn the page for more. This is a great book and I really look forward to her other books in this series and others that this author's writes.
