Do you learn from your failures or your successes?
I remember a time when I said yes to everything—l, convinced that staying busy meant I was doing well.
I didn’t want to disappoint anyone, so I kept showing up, even when I was running on empty.
Eventually, I dropped the ball on something important.
It wasn’t just the mistake that hurt, it was the silence afterward. The guilt. The way I kept replaying it in my head.
That failure made me sit with discomfort I had been avoiding for a long time.
It taught me the cost of trying to be everything for everyone.
A little while later, something different happened.
I spoke up in a situation where I usually would’ve stayed quiet.
It wasn’t loud or dramatic, just honest.
And it landed.
People connected with it. I didn’t have to perform or prove anything. I just had to be real.
That moment of ease, that quiet “win,” taught me that success doesn’t always come from effort.
Sometimes it comes from alignment with who you are and what actually matters.
Looking back, failure cracked something open.
Success helped me rebuild it with more intention.
And I’m grateful for both.
Have you ever had a moment where failure changed everything? Or a quiet success that surprised you?

Failures teach me what not to do, successes just make me think I'm hot stuff.
