During my stay at SOTETSU GRAND FRESA Taipei Ximen, one of the highlights was truly waking up to that breathtaking cityscape every morning from the 14th floor. It made starting each day in Taipei feel incredibly special and energizing. What I appreciated most was how the hotel combines modern convenience with thoughtful touches: the large lobby with plenty of comfortable sofas invites you to relax whether waiting for check-in or simply spending downtime. I found the self check-in and check-out kiosks extremely convenient, allowing a smooth and contactless process that saved me a lot of time. One feature that seemed small but was surprisingly useful was the luggage weighing station near the lobby. Before departing for my flight, being able to weigh my luggage on-site gave me peace of mind and prevented any airport surprises. The free amenities corner offered some thoughtful extras as well, like mosquito repellent patches and stain remover wipes, which came in handy during my urban explorations in the bustling Ximending district just across the road. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, ideal for both relaxation and functionality. Having a separate shower and toilet with a Japanese bidet made my stay feel very comfortable and hygienic. The LED mirror in the dressing area provided perfect lighting while getting ready. Also, the bedside control panel to manage the alarm, music, and direct communication with the lobby felt like a luxury touch that enhanced convenience. Laundry facilities on Level 3 with economical prices allowed me to refresh my travel wardrobe during the stay, which is always a plus for longer trips.
