Games I Enjoy As A Non-Gamer Girly
I wouldn’t call myself a “gamer girl” by any means, but over the past couple of years, I’ve found a few games I absolutely love. They’re fun, easy to get into, and perfect for anyone who doesn’t game regularly but still wants to play! Here are my favorites:
✨ Stardew Valley
My all-time favorite cozy game. You get to run a farm, make friends, and even fall in love. It’s relaxing and stress-free—well, until you get to Skull Cavern. 😉
🎮 It Takes Two
This is hands-down my favorite co-op game! My fiancé introduced me to it, and we had a blast playing together. The story is heartwarming, the gameplay is creative, and it forces you to work as a team (in a fun way).
⛓️💥 A Way Out
If you loved Choose Your Own Adventure books as a kid, this one’s for you. It’s exciting, choice-driven, and super engaging. I loved it so much I’ve played through it more than once.
🍳 Overcooked 2
Another fantastic co-op game! This one tests your cooking skills and your patience with your partner (lol). It’s chaotic in the best way and so much fun to play together.
Even as a non-gamer, these games have been a great way to unwind, bond with my fiancé, and just have fun. If you’re looking for some games to try, I’d 100% recommend these!

For those who might not identify as hardcore gamers, there are plenty of games that provide relaxed and enjoyable experiences without overwhelming complexity. Games like Stardew Valley invite players into a peaceful farming simulation where they can customize their farm and socialize with charming characters. Similarly, It Takes Two emphasizes collaboration in a narrative-driven adventure, bringing players together in a unique co-op format. A Way Out captures the spirit of storytelling with choices that impact the game’s progression, making it reminiscent of classic Choose Your Own Adventure tales. Overcooked 2 brings excitement by blending chaotic kitchen scenarios with cooperative gameplay, perfect for friends or couples looking to enjoy some lighthearted fun. In addition to these featured games, the gaming landscape continues to grow, presenting various options like Animal Crossing, which offers a serene escape to build and manage your island. The beauty of gaming today lies in its diversity, giving non-gamers access to a range of enjoyable experiences. Whether you're in search of relaxation, cooperation, or fun challenges, there’s something for everyone. Engaging with these games doesn't require extensive gaming knowledge—just an open mind and a bit of curiosity.
